This policy explains what data is processed when you use the website clipboardmanager.ru (the “Site”) and the ClipboardManager Plus application for Windows (the “App”).

1. What the App stores

Your clipboard history, categories, snippets, settings and screenshots stay on your computer. The owner of the Site has no access to them and receives no copies.

• history and settings live in %USERPROFILE%\.clipboard_manager.db and an .ini file next to it;
• screenshots are saved to the folder you choose in the App settings;
• there is no account, no cloud sync and no server-side profile in the App.

2. When the App uses the network

The App works without internet access; the network is used in two cases only.

• Title of a copied link. When you copy a page address, the App may request that page’s title once (via oEmbed for YouTube and RuTube, or from the page’s own title for other sites). Only the address itself is sent; clipboard contents and other data are not.
• Pro key activation. The key is verified on your own computer against its machine ID; nothing is sent to a server.

The App contains no telemetry, no usage statistics and no background “phone home” requests.

3. Site statistics

The Site uses a Yandex Metrika counter (ID 114086821) to measure traffic and improve its pages.

The counter collects:

• cookies and a visitor identifier;
• IP address, browser, device and screen resolution;
• pages viewed, referral source, time spent on a page;
• clicks on links and buttons (click map).

Processing is carried out by Yandex (ООО «Яндекс») as the service provider, under its own privacy policy. Statistics are not linked to you as a named individual and are not used for advertising on other sites.

4. Cookies

The Site sets no cookies of its own: the selected theme and language are kept in your browser’s localStorage and are never sent to a server. Cookies come from the Metrika counter only.
